Graduated with honors in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan, he earned his Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.

Appointed “Cavaliere del Lavoro” (Order of Merit for Labour) by the Italian Republic, he is a Member of the Board of Directors of Terna S.p.A., a member of the General Council of the Aspen Institute Italia, the Advisory Council of Stanford University, the Trilateral Commission, and the Executive Committee of the Council for the United States and Italy. He is also President of the MIB School of Management in Trieste.

He worked as a management consultant at McKinsey in the Milan, London, and New York offices. He later served as Chairman of Allianz S.p.A. and was a member of the Executive Board of the Allianz SE insurance group, with responsibility for the insurance markets in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, South America, and Africa.

From 2011 to 2013, he was CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo. In 2014, he founded TGI–Think Global Investments, a strategic and financial advisory firm. From 2018 to 2021, he served as Chairman of the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan.

Giuseppe Gola has been the Chief Executive Officer of Open Fiber since September 28, 2023.

He is a manager with a strong background in the Telecommunications sector. In 1990, he earned a degree in Electronic Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, followed by a Master’s in Managerial Development from LUISS Guido Carli in Rome.

He began his professional career in 1991 at the Enel Group, where, as Head of Business Plan for Mobile Telephony Services, he contributed to the operation that led to the establishment of Wind Telecomunicazioni S.p.A. In 1998, he became Head of Business Plan and Shareholder Relations for Wind.

After several other experiences in the TLC sector, he returned to Wind in 2002, taking on positions of increasing responsibility until he served as CFO from 2007 to 2016.

In 2017, he became the CFO of Acea S.p.A., contributing to the multiutility’s transformation, partly through the acquisition of gas distribution companies, photovoltaic production, and waste treatment.

In 2020, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Acea S.p.A., leading the growth of the Group’s EBITDA and net profit, managing an investment plan of over 3.2 billion euros, and achieving, among other things, an improvement in all service quality indicators.

Since December 2023, he has been Vice President of Asstel – Assotelecomunicazioni, the industrial representation association for the Telecommunications supply chain in Italy.

Graduating with a degree in Economics and Commerce from La Sapienza University in Rome, he earned a master’s in audit and internal control from the State University of Pisa. A member of the Italian Internal Auditors Association since 2002, he collaborates with the Association of Members of Supervisory Bodies ex D.Lgs. 231/01.

With over ten years of experience in managing Internal Audit, Risk Management, and Compliance activities, he has worked with increasing responsibility in companies such as Ferrovie dello Stato Spa, Erg Spa, and TotalErg S.p.A.

He participated in the start-up of the first private operator on the high-speed rail network, Italo Spa – Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori, handling the environmental management system and railway safety, and later holding the position of Head of Internal Audit and Risk Management.

Always passionate about Human Resources, she graduated in Work and Organizational Psychology from Sapienza University in Rome and began her career focusing on selection and training, first in consulting, then at Alitalia.

She entered the telecommunications world at TIM in 1996 and moved to Wind during its start-up phase. In her approximately 15 years at Wind, she covered all functions, including selection and training, talent development and management, compensation, and HR business partner roles, holding positions of increasing responsibility, also as HR and Communication Director for Wind Retail.

She joined Poste Italiane to manage internal communication during the stock market listing phase, and then became HR and Communication Director of the airline Poste Air Cargo, contributing to the industrial reconversion project.

From 2018, she returned to Alitalia and, as Human Resources Director, contributed to the definition and management of the sale of aviation, handling, and maintenance branches, as well as the health and safety at work department.

From July 2022 until joining Open Fiber, as HR Director, she guided the start-up of Swissport Italy, a company within the Swissport International group.

A professional journalist with a degree in Business Administration, he has worked for several national newspapers and local publications.

He served as a parliamentary reporter and spokesperson for the President of the RAI Oversight Committee, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Trade, the Minister for Public Administration, and twice for the Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. He also held the position of Head of Institutional Communication for two Prime Ministers.

In 2015, he joined the Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group, where he holds the position of Head of Institutional Affairs and Deputy Corporate Affairs & Sustainability, overseeing relations with Parliament, Ministries, and regulatory authorities, and managing key national infrastructure and digitalization projects.

In 2021, he was appointed Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.

Throughout his career, he has developed a professional approach grounded in transparency and the enhancement of public institutions’ reputation, combining strategic vision with institutional awareness.

After graduating cum laude in Law with a thesis in corporate law, he began his career at ANCE, in the field of administrative law and public procurement contract consulting.

After experiences at ENEL and Ferrovie dello Stato, in 2001 he started his own law firm, which subsequently merged into the Rome branch of Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, where he assumed the role of Partner, Head of the Administrative Law Department.

In 2013, he launched his own legal partnership, EULEX – Galli & Associati.

In 2015, he brought his experience to the Ferrovie dello Stato group, holding the role of Director of the Legal, Corporate, and Compliance Affairs Department of Trenitalia S.p.A.

Since May 2025, he has held the role of Director of the Legal, Corporate, and Compliance Affairs Department of Mercitalia Logistica S.p.A.

After studying Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, he earned a Master’s in Information Technology from CEFRIEL in Milan. From 1991 to 1998, he worked in Operations at Italcable, which later merged into Telecom Italia’s International Services Directorate.

Immediately after, he joined Infostrada, where he became Head of Network Engineering. Following the merger with Wind, from 2001, he undertook a significant professional journey, taking on roles of increasing responsibility in the technological field. From 2006 to 2012, he was Director of Network Development, then went on to lead the Information Technology Directorate, before assuming responsibility as CTIO until 2015, also becoming a member of the Board of the tower company Galata (now Cellnex).

After a consulting experience at Accenture, in 2017 he joined Ericsson where he became Head of the Digital Services area for Italy and the South-East Mediterranean Region. From March 2020 to February 2022, he was at TIM as Chief Procurement Officer and then as Chief Technology and Operations Officer.

Graduating with a Law degree from Sapienza University, he holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston University.

He is a manager with consolidated national and international experience in the telecommunications infrastructure and services sector, specifically in marketing, strategy, and commercial areas.

He began his career at AT&T, rising to the role of Vice President, Strategy for AT&T Europe, Middle East, and Africa, and also holding responsibility for Marketing Strategy and offer development.

In 1996, he joined Olivetti/Infostrada as Vice President Marketing and Business Development, moving to Sprint International in 1997 as Executive Vice President, EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa).

From 2002, he was at Telecom Italia as Head of International Wholesale Services, eventually becoming CEO of Telecom Italia Sparkle, also leading the Group’s international operations.

For six years, he served as Advisor for Italy and then as Head of Marketing and Sales USA and Europe for GCX – Global Cloud Xchange, a leading TMT and cloud services company based in London.

Graduating in Economic and Social Disciplines from Bocconi University in Milan, he has almost 30 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, focusing on regulation and antitrust.

After graduating, he worked for about 10 years in consulting firms specialising in the communications sector, both in Italy and France, as a project manager for strategic analysis and positioning of telecommunications products/services.

Subsequently, he participated in the start-up phase of the Authority for Communications Guarantees (AGCOM), where he worked for about 6 years, also becoming Head of the Operators and Telecommunications Services office within the Supervision and Control Department.

In particular, from 2004 until joining Open Fiber, he worked at the Telecom Italia Group, initially holding the role of Head of Regulatory Affairs for Telecom Sparkle, and from 2005, the role of Head of Antitrust issues for Telecom Italia. Over time, he added various roles defining and representing the group’s position in Regulatory and/or Privacy matters at both national and European levels. Most recently, he was Head of relations with national authorities from 2012 to 2015 and, from 2016, Head of Antitrust and Regulatory matters related to wholesale and energy services.

He graduated in 1994 with a degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, and Management from Politecnico di Milano.

In 1997, after a brief experience at La Rinascente S.p.a. in the field of information systems, he joined Olivetti S.p.a., where he began his professional career in purchasing and telecommunications.

From 2001 to 2021, he continued his professional experience within the Telecom Italia S.p.a. group, holding various positions of increasing responsibility in procurement and operations. He started as Head of Facility Management Purchasing & Make or Buy, then progressed to VP Group Chief Purchasing Officer, Head of Field Services Procurement, Head of Access Network Procurement & Logistics, VP Network Procurement, and Head of Fixed Network Operations Area Nord Ovest, ultimately achieving the role of Head of Fixed & Mobile Network Development Area Nord Ovest.

In 2021, he became “Advisor for Telecommunications at the Minister’s Cabinet Office” at the Ministry of Economic Development.

On October 17, 2022, he joined Open Fiber to take on the role of Head of the Network Infrastructure Purchasing Function (Non-Convention), Housing, and Logistics within the Purchasing and Logistics Directorate.

With over twenty years of experience in the telecommunications sector, she held the role of Financial Controller at Wind Telecomunicazioni S.p.A. until 2016, the year she moved into the Tower Company business as Head of Management Control at Galata S.p.A.

In 2018, she became CFO of Cellnex Italia S.p.A., and in the following five years, she was appointed a member of the company’s Board of Directors (CDA), a member of the Corporate Ethic Committee, and Integration PMO for the acquired CK Hutchison Network Italia.

After obtaining a University Diploma in Statistics from Sapienza University of Rome, she specialized in Demographic Statistics at the National Institute of Statistics and completed the Master Advanced Management Program at IESE Business School, University of Navarra.
